Well, to be honest, Loki totally tricked her into marrying him, though she gave him the idea of marrying her in the first place. He wanted her to run away with him and she's like 'I'm not living in sin! Oh yeah, and I also have a boyfriend. His name is THEORIC. Remember that, THEORIC. He's one of Odin's CRIMSON HAWKS. Y'know, Odin's personal bodyguards? Just in case you weren't sure which Theoric he was. We're gonna be married in a month! Also, you are evil.' He is annoyed and kills the bf, and pretends to be him. She is suspicious, but doesn't say anything at all and then they're married, when he's all 'oh, btw I'm actually Loki.' And then when Odin tries to say 'hah! in your face Loki! I'm annulling your marriage! And exiling you, because that always works so well.' and Loki's like 'You caaan't! Neener neener!' Sigyn has to add to it by saying' Loki's right! I must join him in his exile! It is my duty!' As she cries, and is pitied. She cries a lot in the comics actually, but I'm still suspicious.

I get the feeling I'm going to end up filling this at some point provided OP doesn't mind crafty!Sigyn, an equal match for the God of Lies and Mischief.

(There is a list and summary of all the issues she's in here but it really doesn't compare to actually reading the issue and seeing the interactions of the various characters. If there's any particular issues you'd like to read (or all of them) let me know and I'll send you some files or post links.)

I am intrigued by plotting Sigyn and would read the hell out of it if you decided to fill this.

Of course I wouldn't mind crafty!Sigyn. It really makes more sense for him to have married a woman who's his equivalent; I feel like he'd get bored otherwise.

Bonus points if you keep her loyal to him (i.e. she'll play tricks on him and lie and be generally mischievous, but at the end of the day she still loves him in her weird way). But I'd really love to read whatever you come up with. =]

Of course she's loyal. It's no good if she isn't loyal and doesn't actually love him.:) Working on it now (5k and counting...), and am waiting on my beta to get back to me on the first bit. She said she'd work on it today or tomorrow but isn't exactly the most reliable person. If I don't hear from her by Saturday I'll start posting anyway. I should probably call her and make her work on it now...

That is kind of disapointing to me. It could be Sigyn being extra sneeky but I'd have to read it for myself to look for sublties in the art and dialog. I sure hope they exist because otherwise her character sounds only half as interesting as she could be.

I like Sigyn at the extreems: either super crafty or super loving. The canon pretty much only allows for the crafty interpretation so I'm going to cling to it! I'd love to read it for myself if you have links.

Actually I think it's meant to be that she just loves him a LOT. Lots and lots. And there is some mutual love going on there (of course it is Loki and he lies) but I think that Loki just kind of has issues with commitment, amongst other things.

I'll comment again after I read but I sure hope you're right!

Plus, I can totaly see Loki having all kinds of commitment issues, in any/every incarnation.

I am right. Even if I have to write a fic that spans the entire series to prove my point.

This is a perfect way to prove anything. And by anything I mean everything. I'm sure your fic will be fantastic!
