At times, Loki's scheming mask slips and he reaches out for contact, the smell and softness of other people. Loki is a virgin going through his first heat. Outside, he is composed and his usual sly self, but he hides himself away on his room more and more to keep control, curled on his bed with his hand between his legs. He is wanton but shy, confused, scared and doesn't know what to do. He doesn't think he can tell anyone, and buckles down to handle it himself. On the outset he still maintains his mischievousness and aloofness.
He stays with Frigga most nights, reading, to be close to someone he's comfortable with, resting his head on he lap or goes to bury his face in Thor's or Frigga's pillows. Soon it gets worse when he starts trembling minutely and has to excuse himself to be alone and calm down his senses. He is meticulous in letting people see only what he wants them to see, he is restrained and controlled in company. It escalates quickly to Loki's embarrassment, yet he still doesn't view it as biological and believes he can ignore it. Frigga or other find out because he won't leave his room, and help him.
