Today was the second All Star game for the local town team (consisting of the best players for their particular age group, selected from the various Little League teams from their town), which one of my nephews is on. They won this one and, as a result, are still in the hunt. It was a good game and they did really well.
After the game there was a big Little League community picnic at a different location after the game for all the Little League teams who play in the town they live in.
There was a dunking booth and, when I saw that some adults were sitting themselves on the plank for people to throw pitches and try to dunk them, towards the end when things began to quite down and there was not as much of a line, I surprised my sister and her family by going up to the person who was running the thing and asking him if I could go up and have my relatives (only) try to dunk me, explaining to him that I was down for a visit, etc.
Staying in after the first time of being dunked, I ended up getting dunked twice and everyone had some fun, plus my sister took some photo's and, in addition, someone else took photo's when she was throwing her pitches.
It was iced water of course, but that did not stop me from being a good sport. Brr-rr, it was definitely cold water though; in fact my feet stayed chilled for quite a while.
