House War
ARGH! I just finished the sun sword series and grrrr!!!! The end of the series is meant to be the starting point for a new series Michelle West has not published yet. . . There are so many unanswered questions (especially refering to the Terafin Manse). She pauses in the middle of a war the Terafin was about to announce her heir and she succumbs to the plague that she has and then Haerrad and Rymark (both particularly despicable) claim her seat, but Jewel Markess ATerafin and her den know that the Terafin's choice is Jewel. And then West stopped this storyline in the first 300 pages of the last book. GRRRRRRRRRR! Then for the next 700 you see a fascinating display of power between Valedan kai di'Leonne (the last of the Leonne clan) and the General Alesso par di'Marente (later Alesso kai di'Alesso). And they both fight the servants of Allaskar (the Lord of Night). Everybody finds out that Kiriel di'Ashaf (she chose her name) is the Queen of the Hells or would be if she followed anything her father (Allaskar) said. And Na'Dio. . . Beautiful gracefull Diora en'Leonne (first Diora di'M-something, then Diora en'Leonne(to the idiot Tyr-agar that gets murdered by Alesso), then Diora di'Sendari (daughter of Sendari kai di'Sendari born Sendari par di'M-something), almost Diora en'Garrardi (Eduardo kai di'Garrardi is a bastard and I want to find out if he will attempt to reclaim her from Valedan kai di'Leonne), then Sen Diora (another crazy weird unresolved story line) finally Diora en'Leonne. Too much is left unsaid and I want to know. . . The next book probably won't come out for another year or two, but grrrrrrr!!!!
In other news I had a nice ish thanksgiving. I got to see friends and lover. My mom was sick the entire time so she could bug me as much as she usually does. I saw Corpse Bride (very fun), Rent (mimi is hot :) ), and Harry Potter . . . which was not as good as I was hoping for :(
Krum . . . He is not a football player, he should be track star/soccer build. And Fleur was not explained. Also the speaking in the fire was not nearly as cool as I thought it should have been . . . I also felt that there was not enough Hermione in this movie (and that the mermaids didn't look right).
It was a fun movie though. . . I definately liked the book better . . .
But you know this is only my opinion. Now I really should do something useful like write a simulation for the electric field of a dipole :D.
