Teammates:

They are on the same side for a matter of five minutes or so. In the rowboat sharing a grimace at the idiocy that is Pintel and Ragetti, they look to each other for confirmation and are shocked to discover they are thinking the exact same thing. I really, really, reallyreallyreally like your writing. Especially your ability to let (I'm assuming) a warped sense of humor seep into James and Lizzy. Love "Teammates" and the line:

“I missed this,” she murmurs confidentially.
“What, the pirates? Or me?”
“Either. Both. Take your pick.”

And of course "Lovers" was also a fav. I look forward to more!

I adore the squeezing of tushies. Great job, as usual, but you knew that. :)

I love the sort of broken nostalgia or bittersweetness that you convey in these: "Family" (Promise me, James, that I'll always have you and Father. Don't ever leave me.) and "Children" ache with that gap between them. Predictably, I loved "Lovers" and "Birth" (With all the irony of the situation) made me giggle.

Fantastic work!

Simply brilliant again. I loved "Friends" and "Lovers". I just love that you're able to express so much of Norribeth in a few sentences. They feel like little snapshots of emotion and I just love to read them. Keep up the good work!
