Thanks, he's about to snap in every way. I can't wait to see what happens next when he gets squeezed even harder. Poor James. :)

Repressed1James is so much fun ... Poor man's really in over his head! Always so close to loosing it! And, I admit, I giggled at, Well that had done it, no water required. Leave it to reminder of reality to put him off.

Fabulous chapter - looking forward to your next installment!

I love that dichotomy about him and often play it up -- competent and even merciless in battle, and all blubbering shaky legs when it comes to matters of the heart. But I always felt that he was so repressed because he was scared of rejection, but if he finally got Elizabeth to the altar and in his bed, he'd become a different man.

There is so much I love about this point, I love her sneaking up to cuddle him, and how it affects him. How it has to be her decision about Will but that he hates the thought of him touching her. And Elizabeth all willing and he has to be the one with some control. Of course as always and he has to phrase it properly "You will wear white on your wedding day." (Anacronistic but still lovely and well it's not like POTC cares about historical accuracy) and she just giggles! And then mentions Will like a splash of cold water. And the men being amused with him, poor James, he has her but she never makes his life easy.
