Well, actually, :presses her finger to her lip and winks: I wasn't before you touched the door. But I'm here now, and I'm glad you came to see me. You want to come in and have some tea?

:blinks: Meet me? Oh, I'm sorry, I thought you were someone else. I'm Jade, daughter of Faramir and Isildur, though you probably haven't met them either. Won't you come in? :stands aside and motions Naike in:

::enters the room and blinks:: It's very pretty in here, Miss Jade.

Thank you. I'm not here often, but I try to keep it nice in case Eomer decides to let someone else use it. :shrugs: It's not like before, when this was the only home I had. :starts the process of making tea: Would you like cake, or some cookies? They usually have pretty good ones in the kitchen.

Eomer . . . I've heard his name before, but I've never met him. Her?

::giggles:: No, I'm okay. I visit the kitchens pretty often these days, thank you.

:indulgent smile: Eomer, my cousin by marriage, is the King. Most of the time he's male, though sometimes he's female. Long story very short, he should take more care to read signs near ponds in the future.

No, you're fine. :smiles at her again: Tea is something of my hobby, and I take great pride in doing it well. :presents her with a steaming cup of tea: There you are. And it won't be bad for the baby, either.

I have no idea. The only person who's really been talking to me since I got here is Galdor. Do you know him? He's a very kind man.

:nods: We've met, long ago when he first came here. I don't think I've spoken to him since then, though. I make people a bit uncomfortable, I think.
