First round at animanga_lims
I didn't get voted off, so that's a good start in my mind. 8D; I did however get 6 critiques:
NEGATIVE:
- While it's not terrible, it's not great either. I don't like this icon overall is because it's difficult to see, even though I have an HD screen and can see more detail than some people. I think that the icon is just too dark in general and can use some major improvements such as getting rid of the shadow that covers the majority of the icon. It makes the icon look dull.
- The icon overall seems too dark. He's kinda being eaten up by the black, it seems. Perhaps if he was in color it might look better.
- despite the beautiful crop, the picture looks over sharpened and washed out
- The icon is too plain.
- The black&white image on the pink-ish background just doesn't work.
- Icon is very plain,could have work more on it.
- This icon is very dark, and too plain. I don't think it was a good choice for selective coloring, especially not with such a zoomed-in crop.
...I don't get it. how was my icon plain? oO; I didn't think it was.

sadly, this weeks challenge is SATAN in picture form. I mean, MY GOD. why would they do this to us? x.x
