This is an answer to this topic about fanmixes, posted here because of its size.

I've almost done the art for a Neviril/Aaeru one, but don't have enough songs for the moment. 
I've chosen the most representative lyrics, but sometimes the whole song fits perfectly.

Just reading through these lyrics, a lot of them fit so very well, it's creepy. I need to look up the songs on Youtube. I think what I'd like to do is create one mix for Aaeru/Neviril and then one mix that has a song for each Sibylla and then some for the chor. Obviously you've found so many songs and would get most of the credit, but wow... imagine putting together a fanmix, getting the songs, and creating a CD project for each.

...I need to pay closer attention to my music to see if I can find anymore XD

I really wanted to put the links to Youtube (or Sendspace in one case), but LJ isn't with me tonight. Even the link to your post didn't work.

I need to ask melengro, oneplusme, rosenmaiden and of course you before I add their songs to the mix. The problem with mine is that since I listen to very different styles, they don't always get fine together. With the help of the Simoun Community, I think it will be easier.

Do you want me to go through your post and find the songs on youtube? I can make a response for you so that you don't have to worry with it. It wouldn't take me long to do it. I wanted to listen to the songs anyway.

You planning the project was what propelled me to ask the community. I don't think any of them would mind if you added them in. I'm always willing to help you with it if you need it so feel free to ask. I would like to take what was posted and see about getting the songs so I can make a Simoun playlist on my mp3 player.

As for your issues with your text being deleted, do you use firefox for your browser? If you do, there's this wonderful tool you can get that saves text as you type. It's saved me a bunch of times and since it stores text, I can go back and search for it months later.

I used to use Firefox, but it's too slow now for my computer, and I'm back to Opera. But that won't help, because I've saved the text (on the wordpad), but when I hit the 'post' button the links just... disappear from the text. Yeah, I don't know either.

I will work on it tonight and get it posted for you. I'll download that sendspace link. Right now, everyone is just posting links to the youtube video. I'm sure if we do a call for the mp3 files and get them posted somewhere, we can have high quality songs. I have copies of the songs I posted I can pass on if you want. I already have that mp3 converter, but I had it long before I met you :P If you want I'll do another post this week asking for the mp3 files to be sent to me. Do you have mp3 files of the songs you've listed in your entry? I can get all the songs and forward them on to you, and you can mix them as you want.

Ah I gotcha. Firefox is a pain with memory usage and I hate it for that, but I like it loads better than IE.

I don't even know what my favorite character or pairing is... I love them all, but sometimes I feel more inclined to some than others. However, did you already wrote something about Rimone/Dominura ? I recently rewatched the episodes before the Ri Maajon, and I'm kinda interested by their couple right now.

XD I've never written anything for them outside of the SK drabbles cause I feel really weak with them. I think it's because I never paid much attention to them before. I don't really even remember their Emerald...I think I drifted off then from being up so late. I could try something, but I'm not even sure if it'd end up being to my standards.

I will have to get the songs together and then upload them to rapidshare. I did get all your songs posted to the fanmix thread though and some of the songs I could not find a video for, or I wasn't sure if it was the right video.

Why can't you use IE?

I think it's a natural repulsion for something that ugly, dangerous for my beloved computer, and so damn slooow. I keep it only to test my html/css codes, once in a while.

XD I haven't used IE in ages and only do so when firefox is being a bitch. But when I get a new laptop, firefox shouldn't be that much of an issue. That's not going to be until November though.

That's okay :) I thought I'd try anyway. I randomly ask for favorite characters or requests of those I really like :D I did it once for another friend who was feeling low at the time and it cheered her right up.

New computers are such love. I've randomly been customizing laptops on various sites, seeing the changes and what I can get and all. Getting it in November will be nice cause my birthday's that month so it's like a big expensive birthday gift to me!

Do you intend to bring Neviril or Aaeru to that con ? I've seen you couldn't do Neviril for Summer...

Oh I had to give up Neviril cause of the wig issue. I'm bringing Aaeru to Otakon in Sibylla dress and for that fall, I'll be her in Sibylla dress and the original green pilot uniform (which will be made at the end of August)
