Oh hey it never really occurred to me that I never told you guys about my CAR! I got a new one a few weeks ago. It's nicer than my old one, which sucked if you don't remember it.

The old one was a 1994 Dodge Intrepid with a white trunk and no front bumper.

That's basically what it looks like. It's shopped to the max (original here) but that's pretty much how it was. White trunk, rust spots under the door, duct tape remnants above the rear passenger side window (included but still not very apparent) and of course the LACK OF A FRONT BUMPER.

A kid named Matt is going to buy it from me for $100; he wants a "project car". Hearing that thing run for five minutes you would know that Matt's got his fair share of work cut out for him. It's a horrible car and he's not going to have fun working on it, mostly 'cause I messed up a lot of stuff. It needs an oil change, it needs the spark plugs timed, it probably needs a whole bunch of fluids, a repair to the wiper fluid reservoir, and I could go on. It runs, but barely. 10 MPG highway.

My new car, on the other hand, is gorgeous! It's a 1993 Mazda MX-3 with a whole bunch of work done to it. Want the specifics? OKAY! It's modified from the stock (for '93) B6-2E engine (about 88 (!!!) horsepower in a 1.6L SOHC I4 engine) 4-speed automatic transmission to a very NEW AND IMPROVED BP-ZE engine (about 135 horsepower in a 1.8L DOHC I4 VICS-equipped engine) and a manual 5-speed transmission. It's got aftermarket sport suspension (by Eibach), a heavily modified interior (dashboard, interior lights, steering wheel, shifter knob, stereo deck, sound system), a fresh coat of RED RED RED paint, a Viper alarm system, and I guess an improved steering column (it used to take 3.5 revolutions of the wheel to get maximum steering, but now only requires 2.5 revolutions; it's great 'cause I usually have one hand on the shifter and can't do the whole hand over hand thing around tighter corners (not that any really exist around here)).

ANYWAY, here's a picture of what it's like (original here).

I used to really be into cars. I'm getting back in that mindset again, but I know more now. It's kind of interesting. :|
