You know what's funny? As much as I hate Carly, I kind of like writing her. I mean, she's awful and the show ruins any glimmer of potential she might have, but the idea of the character is interesting. And even with the way she is, it's fun to try and get inside her head and figure out what the hell makes her act the way she does, because we don't get any real character development on the show. Lots of screentime, yes, but no actual insights into her psyche. Same with Sonny. It's interesting to try and figure him out and make him, if not sympathetic, at least human. Hey, you saw what happened when I decided that the writers gave Sam a raw deal!
Yeah, everything's out in the open, at least. Of course, that doesn't mean that things will go smoothly. You're so right, Robin needs to not be confronted by Patrick at the moment, and (if it ever gets written), after her conversation with Sonny, the girls form a buffer around Robin at the hospital. Things need to calm down before she can face Patrick again. But he can consider this another object lesson in History of Robin 101, so changes in his behavior are afoot. Again, this all depends on whether I write it. *headdesk*
This entire fic is pure wish-fulfillment on my part! Liz doesn't suck, Robin's parents are there for her, she's got friends who defend her, Sonny and Patrick get their heads out of their asses...yeah. Remember when we liked this show?
No, we can say this doesn't count, lol. I never gave you any deadlines, anyway. Stupid real life. But don't we still have an interview to finish?
