That's my highest rating, and I don't just fling that good coffee around!
It's very good, very atmospheric, and Nat King Cole's Fallen Leaves so perfect.
Michelle Williams, like Robert Downey Jr in Chaplin and his intensely perfect Charlie, is Marilyn Monroe. Amazing work! She is that good in this. And RDJ's performance in Chaplin is wonderful and totally immersed inside Charlie Chaplin's being.
Michelle does that "found" not lost in the role level of acting.
I am glad I chose to see My Week With Marilyn. Very glad.
And to be honest, I didn't think I'd like it this much! I love being surprised by movies and art and books...this movie envelops one in a little slice of 1956, a world made by director, writers, and actors.
