Watched and read
I am starting up the 4th season of Sanctuary...
I just watched Man On Fire directed by Tony Scott ; moderately violent with some slightly intense depiction of gore, not for the under 16 crowd. Very intense kidnapping film. Reminded me of Traffic.
I give it 4 cups of very strong coffee.
I finished two books , CJ Cherryh's Invader--marvelous and I will read all those boks in her series-- ( I finished this around 3 weeks ago); and Damon Knight's Creating Short Fiction.
If you really want to read a great book about Short Fiction- Mr. Knight's book is excellent.
It is bound to deepen your experience of short fiction, and his tone throughout is one of gentle mastery,
As I said earlier here in my LJ, "around" my birthday, I am challenging myself to read 55 books in this, my 55th year.
So I am up to 3 books.
