One of the big paradigms of the Republicans is that we make the corporations pay too much tax.
This in black and white is what actually happens with corporations.
They get plenty of profit. They could afford to be here in the US, they just don't choose to. With the profits they make, even if they just paid 18% they would help out.
With the profits they make, many of their overseas businesses could come back home and help the United States and the unemployment problem.
Withthe profits they make, they could probably easily afford a raise for most everyone by at least 20-65% who earns under, say,$50,000.
With the profits they make, I imagine they could afford a nice bundle of cash investing in a green company or two, or viable sustainable research project.
