I do not see how the reactionary conservative religious right thinks this is a "Christian" nation when they are 90% of the time going against any legislation that would make it easier to raise a child after it's born.
Most of the time their policies--both political and business--are so out of touch with that it is like earning, say less, than $75,000 in this country( that's way above my income: disclaimer) that they blithley move more and more business outside the country, and blithely make sure that many of their lower level employees barely eke out a living at their businesses.
None or extremely little of the evidence that the Right, the new retroreligious right's lifestyle, actions, etc. make me think they are for this country, or their God, but however, very much for the almighty Dollar.
As far as I remember, the rich weren't supposed to get to heaven easily, and the widow's mite was considered more precious than a bezillion dollars.
Why don't they call themselves Dollarists??or Dollarians?
