Current Department of Defense budget, including spending on "overseas contingency operations" for Fiscal Year 2010: $663.8 billion.
This is just part of it.
So friend's list, if you were given that money and advised to spend it on the United States...where would it go? That's a big chunk of change...divvy it up at least 10 ways.
