The asterisks near Physicians Assistants are because there weren't enough men in that career ( which I think has been around since the late 1980's...) to compare to.
I am really suprized that male nurses get more than female nurses.
Seems like the best paying is a pharmacist.
The biggest difference is between female and male doctors.
This is 2010 folks.
The discrepencies have been discussed for around 40 years.
And probably more, but I am talking studies, articles, news etc.
A woman doctor earns on the average 64.4 % less than a man doctor.
