Party hardy, the night, the people, the ball drop, all of it to symbolize; To bring in a new year. 1 day set apart to party. To relax, to celebrate. What a great time of celebration to end in a day of rememberance. At 3:30 p.m. December 31st my grandmother passed away. She died, I guess, peacefully in her sleep in her own home and bed. I remember her for all her goods and bads. I will always keep the heart alive. She always gave of herself whether it was giving shelter to me or giving money and charity to people who had less than her. She never had a lot of money but her heart was there. I admired that...I wanted to be like that. That's why I'm this way now, why I love to give. That was the biggest influence on me. She was also stubborn as an ox. She always told the truth. I won't lie even in death, she wasn't perfect, she had a short temper also. All in all though she was a great person who I admired greatly. She knew what she wanted when she wanted it and how she wanted it. Always smiled at me and told me to get married and have some great grand kids:D Not to mention she always pushed me to goto school to finish college. Moreso she put me up for a while. Made sure when I was going through the hard times that I knew I had someone that cared..... Thanks a ton..I will always remember that Grandma. Be safe and I love you.... May you finally find the rest you always deserved.
With Love,
~Louis~
