less than one month left
Uninspired, totally swamped, and, frankly, very very happy.
McCCLU is this week. I'm hosting two girls, one Wed+Thurs night, one Friday+Sat night. [Somehow, even though I'm hardly ever there and barely leave food there, my apartment has ants. Not all over, just in the kitchen. They hid out in my main room corner last year; I got rid of them with foot powder. And now they're back! So I've cleaned with spray, water, and sponge and now I've powdered. Tomorrow I will fetch ant traps. Goodbye little buggies! I don't want my guests to be grossed out!!]
Tuesday I have to pick up the banner for McCCLU at Copy2000; hopefully it'll come out well. I'm sad that I'll probably have to miss the last Cognitive Philosophy Group meeting on Friday because that's the first night of McCCLU. Saturday night Eric and I are going to see Morcheeba in concert...unless the tickets from ebay don't arrive or are not valid.
I have a compsci assignment due Wednesday and a stats assignment due Thursday (I haven't looked at it yet). The rough of my 15 page sociology essay is due April 1 and I'm not entirely sure it'll be what the prof wants. Luckily peoples from the class are required to read 2 other classmates' papers and give suggestions. I have a final project in linguistics that is going to be a challenge. Anyone know what an ergative language is like? Didn't think so. That's what my partner and I have to explain...except we found that there is an ergativity spectrum and we'll be giving examples from at least 3 languages. Go us!
I'm obsessed with etsy. I can't wait to sell stuff on it.
