So the Paypal dispute has come and gone. The buyer must either be incompetent or just not bothered at all. Well I'm keeping tabs on the package just in case anyway.
Got my Final Fantasy Advent Children Complete Blu-ray set. Obviously first thing I did was load up the FF13 demo. In terms of graphic prowess from SE, it's pretty decent so far. The gameplay... while fluid and fast, is rather chaotic at times. Not to mention your buddy AI is almost useless (HEAL ME GODDAMIT!) but some of the bigger boss fights are quite impressive. Still the demo just didn't impress to be honest.
During my rather boring periods of no calls yesterday at work, was reading the company newsletter to notice that there's a picture of the guys in Japan with Hayley Westenra. So out of curiosity, I did a name search of her in HMV Japan to see if she's quite popular there. To my surprise she has a couple of CDs that I don't see here in NZ. Both CDs are entitled Hayley Westenra sings Japanese songs. Amused as I was, I decided to hit up good old Youtube and found quite a few of said Japanese songs that Hayley sings. If you type up something like Tsubomi and Hayley, you'll get a few PVs available. I'm rather impress by it, so on my next pay I think I'll invest in those CDs.
In the meantime, listen to Hayley sing in Japanese. :)
