In order to continue to be my friend, you need to
go play World of Goo. There's a cross-platform demo. I'll wait.
It's one of those building/physics puzzle games, with the twist that, from what I've seen so far, every level is based on a good idea of how to apply the physics. Some of the ideas are downright brilliant, and having it all click as to just how you're supposed to get from point A to point B with the tools given is an amazing experience. Plus it's relatively inexpensive, and can be enjoyed in decent-sized chunks of time, and gets all the small interface things right. (I went from "Hey, I want to buy this now" to actually having it in less than five minutes, and had my save file from the demo still there so I can start playing right where the demo left off. To name two.)
