remember how i was staunchly against interpol? i don't quite remember the reason why, but i think maybe i thought they were all style and no substance. then gilda offered to burn me their CD's and i didn't want to be rude. now i love them.
i was also staunchly against death cab for cutie and, therefore, also the postal service. then juhi (i think it was her? maybe not) recommended the postal service and i gave them a chance and now i fucking love them.
so then i thought, since i gave those two bands a chance and ended up really pleasantly surprised, maybe i should give death cab a try?

anyway, i'm still in this forgiving mood and am in the mood to try out new bands that i may have previously dismissed. you are welcome to give me recommendations but i will never, EVER reconsider dashboard confessional. everevereverevereverever. but i don't think i have any friends who like him anyway.
