So yesterday (June 30th) was a sad, sad day. My computer of a year and a half crashed (again) and says that Windows is either missing or corrupted. So on my "day off", I spent most of it trying to do what I could to repair it, but to no avail.

Because of the depressing nature of yesterday, I didn't even bother to write a journal entry about it.

On a much brighter and productive note, today was our hiking trip to Nordmarka. It was a long, tiring, uphill treck, basically up a mountain, in the forest. I felt very much at home, reminding me of the cabin. Difference? Try on the way there, it was very much uphill. I walked up tehre with Vina,.. We both got so tired and so sore. It was about 4 miles, which is similar to going around the lake, but again, up hill. We finally reached our destinaton and it is this open area with a kind of an a-la-carte semi-restaraunt thing. There it was that I purchased a sandwich and a Coke Light and enjoyed the scenery.

The treck back down was (obviously) much easier and faster. On the way back, the sun seemed to even agree as it peaked through the clouds and made everything almost glisten. On the way back down, my walking partner was Vivian from Hong Kong, who is actually from my group for the group project.

When I came back from the trip, my suitemate Marian had already left, but had left a note saying she had given me anything she left behind, which included food (mostly) and some cleaning supplies. I was sad she left and i wasn't able to say goodbye, or even get a picture of her. Sad day, or in Norwegian: trist dag (shout out to SAP!!)
