Thoughts on Justified!
OMG, people, like, I can't even with this show. It's so fabulous! You know, in a gun-toting, hat-wearing, fabulous way. :D
The new villains are badasses, CRAZY!Badasses, Raylan is freaking cracking me up in EVERY EPISODE. AND Boyd Crowder, as usual, IS THE EFFING SHIT. ALL THE TIME.
All I want to say is, THEY'VE ONLY AIRED FOUR EPISODES. FOUR. And already so much has gone down, like I can't even wait for tomorrow. DEWEEEEY. T_T
And let me just say, Dewey Crowe's relationship with Dickie Bennett is the most adorable, most so-wrong-it's-right situation I have seen in a goddamn long time.
Because I am a sucker for any and all Boyd/Raylan interaction, this evening I rewatched half of last week's episode, mostly so I could see a certain scene in which Boyd hears a car pull up, references Star Wars, then KNOWS THAT IT'S RAYLAN WHO'S COME TO SEE HIM.
Let me reiterate, HE KNOWS IT'S RAYLAN. He says hello to Raylan BEFORE HE COMES IN. HE KNOWS HIM BY THE SOUND OF HIS CAR/VOICE.
I'm sorry, everyone. I just can't.
And then Boyd proceeds, as the lovely rilla so eloquently stated, to look, the entire time they are talking, like he wants to crawl onto Raylan's lap.
I love how much Boyd wants to help Raylan out when he can. How much it's obvious that he loves talking to Raylan and helping him out.
THIS SEASON PEOPLE, I CAN'T EVEN. <3333333
Also, everyone is a badass, Rachel, Tim (though where he disappeared to, I have NO IDEA), Ava, and Art! <3333 All badasses! Oh, plus Neal McDonough, WHAT!! Love it.

Jeremy Renner!
I watched the Hurt Locker.
Okay, so I respected it as a good film, and I effing loved Renner in it, but I wasn't quite as blown away as I expected to be.
I thought that the character Renner played was fascinating and his buddies were also really great, interesting characters. But occasionally, and ESPECIALLY towards the end, I thought the film strayed too far into out and out sensationalizing and romanticizing the work these men do, instead of portraying it realistically and unbiasedly.
I think my Jeremy Renner film spree will soon be complete. I have to decide if I really want to watch SWAT or the Dahmer movie. ;/

I still love all the characters though (except Joe White!) and think Steve and Danny should just make heart eyes at each other all day. Oh, and here's the fic!

And, as I've said before, I have my qualms with some of that fic's choices, but I will never turn down lovely dialogue and banter and Raylan and Boyd participating in copious amounts of porn. She should be posting soon, and I have more to say below about my own fannish activities.

So, as I may have written last week, the last chapter of my Raylan/Boyd slash AU has taken over my brain. Or, it had, until I decided to reread my Yuletide fic ('cause that's how I roll) and got ANOTHER AU idea, which I've subsequently written about 4k of since last night.
And, yes, it's an AU of a fic that is technically AU, because threesomes are often that way... *facepalm*
Both of these fics are probably going to be crazy!long, because apparently that's how I'm writing lately. And they are fulfilling my self-made prophecy about how I would probably just write AU the entire time S3 is airing because I can't even process what is happening and I can't stand it when my fic gets jossed anyway.
Also, both fics are greatly satisfying my insatiable need for ridiculous angst and drama. So, look out for that when they get posted. I swear, I will try and reign it in a little.
ALSO, I really really wanted to write for the porn battle, but, as I said, these Justified fic ate my brain and all of my attention along with it. I could not separate out any time or interest in random porn writings. So, I guess I will just have to wait for Five Acts to roll around again, or ask ariadnesstring if she wants to host another Running Hot meme, to get my fever!fic fix. *hint hint,* bb. <3
