Yuletide Reveal
So, I wrote two fics for Yuletide, one assignment and one treat, and three fics for Yuletide Madness.
Here they are:
It Never Ends the Way We Had It Planned
Fandom: Justified
Pairing: Ava/Boyd/Raylan
Summary: Raylan told Winona he would follow her out of Harlan. He hadn’t meant to lie about that. He really hadn’t. He told her he’d have one drink with Arlo and be out of there within the hour. He hadn’t meant to lie about that either.
I got the yulegoat letter for this and my immediate reaction was, "wow, this is right up my alley." Then I thought about how I had actually written a fic very similar to one of the ideas that had been written of in the letter and realized this was probably the best request I could have gotten in the Justified fandom. :D
I feel like I tried valiantly and reasonably succeeded at creating a different spin on this particular threesome than I had previously explored, so I'm quite pleased about that. And really, I just absolutely love it when Boyd and Raylan are being intense at each other all over the place. :DDD
And Then They Go and Change the Rules
Fandom: Keeping the Faith
Pairing: Anna/Brian/Jake
Summary: So, they went and changed the rules on him. Brian is not psyched. Not at all. Jake and Anna convince him otherwise.
As soon as I saw that Keeping the Faith was a fandom for Yuletide and that the prompt was a threesome prompt, I was sold. It took me a while to figure out how it would work, and I agonized over whether or not the characters' voices sounded right, but I absolutely love what came out. And I'm so glad I could give the recipient a fic it seemed that she'd been pining for for a while.

Summary: A glimpse of Mags and Helen many years ago, at Christmas.
I wasn't certain I could do Mags justice when writing this fic, but I really wanted to give it a shot. Plus I love the idea of Mags and Helen being friends as girls.
Up, Up, and Away
Fandom: Pan Am
Pairing: Ted/Laura
Summary: It didn't take long for Ted to realize he'd made a mistake.
I haven't said much about Pan Am on this journal, but it is a show that I watch and that I enjoy. I wanted to write a little bit of it and the prompt from Greens gave me just enough of a push. I was rather pleased with the few lines at the end.
Seventh (or Eighth) Verse, Same as the First

Pairing: Henry/Casey
Summary: They have this little ritual...
I watched Steve Guttenberg's Birthday on demand the day I wrote this fic, which incidentally was the day before Christmas. I haven't seen Party Down since I first watched the show like over a year ago, but having recently seen that (absolutely great) episode, I felt comfortable giving it a shot. Also, it was for
ozmissage , who I LOVE. So, how could I resist?
So, apparently this Yuletide was a time for me to write about threesomes and try out new fandoms, which I think gives it a general YAY!
I can't wait for next year. <3
