New Layout, New Fic
I posted fic today for the first time in what seems like a while.
However, I know that's a lie. It was just under two weeks ago that I posted this Raylan/Winona fic that it seems no one read. Which isn't really a surprise, seeing as it's an obscure, barely related addendum to my threesome and pre-series slash fics from a few months back. Also, it's pretty grim and sad and there's no sex in it. No one wants to read that.
Anyway, so I posted fic today and it is straight up slash. It's AU slash in fact and I love it. I love everything about it, except what pain it caused me to write and the fact that it took forever. I scrapped at least 500 words of crap porny bits of this fic before I figured out how it should go. I do not usually operate this way and it drove me crazy. I was seriously questioning my continued ability to write NC-17 slash fic. It was tragic and I was complaining to EVERYONE about it.
Luckily for them, last night I had a breakthrough and finished the goddamn thing. And I love it so much, I might continue it someday. It will be my dream Boyd/Raylan domestic!fic plus porn extravaganza! You know that you want this.
Also, I changed my layout this evening. I made the banner myself and the only thing I don't like about the changes is that there's no place for the title of my journal and that my primary icon is not displayed.
But what do you think, f-list? y/n?
