Oh, the things you find when you're stalking yourself on the internet
So, I've developed this habit of searching myself on del.i.cious every once in a while to see who likes my fics enough to bookmark them there. This may or may not be incredibly narcissistic, but whatever. It's how I roll.
As I was doing that today I stumbled upon a Justified fic that someone who liked Hellfire also bookmarked. It's called "When My Time Comes" and it lives at ff.net, a place I, like many before me, had written off as not worth sifting through to find the good stuff. I'm so glad I let some random person do that for me, because this story is a gem.
Apparently it was written sometime during season one, and posted up on ff.net in January. So it's entirely a season one creature, but it's a really nice look at Raylan's character, how he feels about Kentucky, and there's an excellent hint of Raylan/Boyd there at the end. Overall, this fic is worth a read, and for me, it was worth a bookmark too. :D
