I return from my general leave of absence from LJ for... *drumroll*....Five Acts!
This is my favorite meme of all! And it's back again! For round 8!

Here are my Five Acts.
- Forbidden pleasures (love affairs or trysts; in general, wanting someone or something that's expressly forbidden) - Especially the secret aspect of this trope, sneaking around, doing something you feel guilty--but not that guilty--about.
- Intoxication and Powers of attraction (aphrodisiacs; drugs or alcohol; sex pollen/spores; substances or devices that create arousal, affection, or dependency; speaking or showing the truth while intoxicated; visionary states, characters such as sirens and Veelas; vampiric thrall; pheromones; magnetic and charismatic characters in general) - Basically anything that messes with the characters’--one, both or all three’s--heads is just awesome in my book.
- Mindfuck, mindgames or conditioning (taming or breaking a character; training; brainwashing; Stockholm syndrome) - More head messing, always welcome. Dark and twisty is just fine, though I’m not really cool with complete noncon, dubcon is a-okay. Power plays are key here, struggles for dominance or relinquishing something important to a partner is sexy as hell. Though I still do prefer fic where characters stay mostly IC.
- Silence (slave silence; silence as an erotic element in sex; trying to be silent during semi-public sex; going nonverbal or speechless with arousal; traumatic mutism; selective mutism; sign language; gestures used to convey feelings rather than words) - What it says on the tin. Maybe either in connection with numbers 1 or 2 or 3. ;)
- Well-fucked (being fucked out; fuck-dazed; sated and sleepy; wrecked; softened and debauched) - Blissed out and happy characters are super fun. I especially love it when such states make them say, do, or reveal things they wouldn’t have otherwise. Are you sensing a trend here?
