- I spent nearly all day writing the first chapter of the third installment of the Set Fire 'verse. Chapter two is mostly written already and chapter one is INFINITELY better thanks to thornfield_girl. :D

As for the hockey!fic, I... don't read Pens fic. It's. I'm a little too in love with Crosby and I've been watching too many vids of him and the rest of the team, so they're Real People and thus I can't overcome my RPF-squick. (Not to mention, I really want him to be straight if only so he can eventually marry and produce GORGEOUS hockey-playing-genius-children and thus better the human race. I feel like he's morally obligated to procreate if only for that reason.)
I... read Blackhawks fic. I got started on that before I started finding out more about them, so it squeaked around my RPF phobia and I... I mean, I know intellectually they're real people, but it makes it easier to separate their realness from the ficness if you start with fic before you figure out who they are first. If that makes any sense. I also try to read only the stuff that is OBVS not-real, like maaaaaasively AU stuff, so I can just file it in my brain in the same place I store alternate history fiction. There's one 'Hawks/Twilight crossover (I'm not even kidding), that actually works for me, and you gotta know that I haaaaaaaate Twilight.
I have not, unfortunately, gotten to see many games lately, if only because they do not air here in KC, which is a FREAKING PITY. I do watch the highlights, though, and I'm really looking forward to seeing Crosby's first goal since his comeback from tonight. S'gonna be AWESOME, even if they were killed by the Senators.
