Merrick's first speech therapy appointment is on August 14th. I almost can't wait... is that crazy?

On a related note, she now says "apple," but only if you say it first. And of course, she doesn't say it like "apple," but instead like "appy." Sometimes she's too cute for me to stand!

Pfeh. Men. They get the fun part of having a kid, and only have to contribute one drop to the whole production. I'd buy one of those big Japanese fans if I were you and crack it over his head whenever he tells jokes like that XD

Oh yeah, she talks constantly, but it's nothing like english for the most part. She has certain sounds that she says often, which makes me think that those are her "words" for certain things... like "eeyo" means both "give me that" and "here you go"
