Whoah, birthday!
I just realised it's going to be my birthday in about a week!
So, for the benefit of those who might want to get me a present, I am once again posting my wishlist (not that I'm insisting on presents, but I've always found these helpful when buying for others)
Graphic novels, any of the following: Sandman (any), Fables (any, except the first two), Watchmen (with the original cover art, please).
Alcohol -anything sweet, creamy or classic. I could also use a decent rum.
Cocktail making equipment - so I can make cool drinks! Doesn't have to be fancy or expensive, just the basics.
Plushie microbes - I like the red blood cell, but I'm not sure about how easy it is to get these in NZ.
Earring tree - I really need something to hand my dangly earrings on! Again, not sure about whether you can find them around here.
DVDs: District 9, Inglourious Basterds (preferably special editions with extras, if possible). I also like comedians, so a DVD of a show would be great (specifically Eddie Izzard, Bill Bailey, Dylan Moran, Russell Peters - NOT RICKY GERVAIS). Can't think of any others I particularly want off the top of my head..
Books: specifically Song of Susannah or The Dark Tower, both by Stephen King (part of the Dark Tower series). Otherwise, anything that looks interesting and you think I might like.
Clothing - accessories are preferred (hats, scarves, gloves, bags etc) over actual clothes - I like to try my clothes on before buying. Costume stuff is also good :)
Stationary - I know this sounds weird, but I really like nice pens!
Electronic gadgets - anything!
Jewellery - just about anything. I don't like chunky stuff, I prefer classic and simple. Don't mind if it's cheap, as long as it doesn't look really tacky. Costume jewellery is always good :)
Games - card games, board games, computer games... I don't really have any, so if you think it's fun then I probably will!
Ornamental - preferably not too tacky/plastic. I like pretty things!
Cosmetics - always nice :) esp nail polish or eyeliner
