--------------At some point in the never ending confusion of love, one wishes for the infallible prototype. The Dresden Dolls' singer Amanda Palmer wants it all, in dream-laced vocals surrounded by cabaret instrumentals. Coin Operated Boy has a tempo which slows and regains energy, as though Palmer is reloading the song with more and more money to work the way she wants. The song is from the Boston duo's 2005 A Dark Cabaret.
