tomorrow I'm going with my mom to the dr's to perform an upper endoscopy because she's complaining of pain and dyspepsia and personally I think she has a combination of moniliasis bc of the cortisone therapy she's taking for her MS as well as a gastric ulcer from all the NSAIDs she's taking for her pain..Now arguably, duedenal ulcer is much more common than gastric, but her pain seems to fit the gastric profile a lot more, which means her case is a little more serious if its true. Either way, we wont know til we do the endoscopy.
ironically the endoscopist is my inetrn. med. proff as school-- which means I will be cross examined in everything that relates to gastritis and peptic ulcer, every drug and dosage, til my eyes bulge out of my head. I guess that will pretty much be an indication of what the hell kind of dr i'm going to make. I hope i pass this fake exam. :)
yesterday I had a 38 fever (sorry i cant remember what that is in farenheit) and i was fine today til right about now.. i think its back and I have a nasty pukey medicine head feeling. And not to be overly dramatic but i think I need to do a blood/urine test soon. I'm peeing a whole lot and drink inhuman amounts of water and I'm starting to lose weight even though I'm just sitting on my ass all day.. dare i say it might be diabetes? I certainly have been through an insane amount of stress the last month between my fights with my mom, and leaving home during (my sucky) eid..it makes perfect sense. Or perhaps I'm going through that thing med students do.. when they start seeing the stuff they study in themselves.. hee hee I'm going crazy.
Sometimes its better off not knowing why u feel crappy than to know and over analyze your every symptom... I can imagine what kind of mom I'll make; I'll be analyzing his every stool sample and inspecting his eyes before he goes to school everyday for jaundice, pupuil dilatation, conjuctivits..the poor kid will run away from home by the time he's 4.
he? hmm. that was very natural. i dont see myself having girls. i dont think I like girls very much.
hey tobie, before u got pregnant, did u see yourself having a boy, or was it a total shock bc u pictured urself having a girl?
