I went through what you did once in school, only it was because my sketchbooks got burned in a dormitory fire. I took a term with just one class and devoted every waking hour to filling up more. It sucked, but hey, I caught up! Just in time to drop out to move in with my man. Woo, I rock. But seriously, all is not lost!
I don't think you're overweight, or you would be losing mega-poundage. Your body type is probably just hippy, but it doesn't mean you're fat! It's just the way you're naturally shaped. I'm a miniature tank with boobs. It was difficult to accept for awhile, but Kane loves me because I look the way I do. You obviously fit into your fiance's personal tastes, or he wouldn't be interested in you. So think about that when you're feeling ugly.
Mother-in-laws are bitches, period. Mine acts like a retarded, whiny little 5-year-old, and is constantly infuriated that unlike her, I have two working brain cells. I just play nice in her presence and, just as importantly, in my boyfriend's, and and mock her behind her back with my best friend. I know my best friend won't tell anyone, so it's all good. Do you have someone you can talk to about her? I'll listen and crack jokes about her, if it helps.
