(no subject)
i've had a busy busy week, which i guess beats being bored out of my mind.
my first two days back i spent chilling with K, who was so sweet i practically got a toothache.
the next two days I was spending time in a charity clothes drive, acquiring and sorting out TONS of clothes, washing, sewing and ironing old stuff ppl donated, and repacking them into labeled boxes to be sold dirt cheap, and whatever money they come up with will be used to buy canned food and staples and donated to poor folks during Ramadan. I really have to say doing charity stuff makes me feel warm and fuzzy on the inside, i wish I could do it every day.
Even tho i went with the expectation to be relatively quiet, since most of the college folk who participate in this sort of thing despise me, very few ppl turned out at all, so I ended up playing ring leader, and most of the ppl there I didnt know at all, and they ended up liking me so it was nice :) On the 2nd day, even fewer ppl came, but the old college crowd came in and one of the ppl who despises me most came, and i was super nice to her, possibly getting her to warm up just a tad towards my direction. Not even sure why she doesnt like me in the first place. I can honestly say i was never not nice to her, i actually kind of like her. But being my "american" english speaking self in college pisses a lot of ppl off I guess. Anyway, I made a few frinds there and I enjoyed it, but my back is shot. Plus I think my Aunt Flo is coming so my back is unrelenting these days.
Last night after the drive I went to this place alled Aristocrat and played pool with khaled and his friends. Very different crowd I've never seen before and couldnt imagine khaled hanging out with them, which just goes to show how versatile my boyfriend is. Mostafe, the one I wanted to meet most was as cool as i expected, and he's even cute, but having a teeth fixation as I do, i really wanted to tell him to get his teeth bleeched. He's obviously been smoking since he was two and its gross.
Tonight Naznaz and I are going shoping.. let's hope he's more fun shopping than sondus bc sondus hates to shop and frankly is no fun at the mall :P I'm a girlie girl, I have no shame about that, and i ENJOY buying clothes.
Did I mention Dou is back? She is, and i was very glad to see her. I think she grew up a bit... not in the settling sense, she is still as wild as ever, maybe more, but at least she thinks about consequences more than she used to and weighs things in her head a little bit, whereas before she never even considered it. small step for man, giant leap for mankind.

anyway, i'm gonna go try out some new recipes from www.cooks.com I think I'll do chicken parmesean and another type of chicken.. bbq or carbonara or cordon bleu.. not sure yet. let u know how it goes.
