Today I watched Footloose, the movie about a community of repressed professional dancers. Movies about dancing are so fantastic.

Here's a measure of my nerdiness: I'm watching the musical episode of Buffy and since FX re-edits things, I know where every single line is changed or missing. And I've been getting mad about the missing lines. But Tara' ( Read more... )

Haha wow I just was glancing at my sister's screen and i noticed the word Buffy so I decided to read your post and I just wanted to say...you arent alone there. Every time I see Once More with Feeling on FX I expect to hear the lines and so I notice whenever there is something missing and its funny.

Also the Angel finale...wow I was not prepared for that and I had such a crazy emotional response to it. I just couldnt take it! Wow...
Yeah so I think that we need to have a buffy/angel watching night so that we dont have to feel alone in our crazy fanage-ness. hehe.

So yay I just felt like sharing :) ~*Raechel*~

They cut out the "I gave birth to a pteradactyl" "Oh my god, did it sing?" part. I was incredibly upset.

Please yes let's watch Buffy and Angel.

And Sarah thinks you're the coolest person ever.

"Once More" is my video Bible. I have never watched the syndicated version, as that would be blasphemy. I have a 700meg video file of it on my computer instead.
I am better than you.

Dude, I totally thought about Footloose the other day and told Ben about it. He's never seen it. I was like, dude, you haven't seen Kevin Bacon get so angry that he just has to.... DANCE??? Oh how I wish I had a TV. But I might get one later today. y then I'll be saying, oh how I wish I had a VCR. And a DVD player. And actual videos and DVDs. But nevermind.

If you come over here to visit, I'll buy the DVD and we can watch it. See, you now have even more incentive to come visit.

I downloaded all the songs from OMWF from somebody who digitized it off the video (long before the CD came out) and listened to it for months on my iPod. (NERD!) I love that episode. It's right up there with 'Hush'. The scene with the white boards and Giles' drawings still cracks me up.

The white boards are my favorite as well.

The three best episodes of Buffy all have to do with sound: Hush (no dialogue for most of it), OMWF (musical) and The Body (no score).

Yep! I agree. 'The Body' is my other favorite. Completely devastated me....

Although I do admit a weakness for the ep where Giles and Buffy's mom regress to teenagers and hook up. Hee.

There are so many good moments, actually.

Except for The Year of Riley and Adam. I could have skipped right over that.

Damn, I miss that show.

That episode is "Band Candy". It's hilarious and amazing. Giles is all teenage badass. Eep. He's so cute.

The Year of Riley and Adam brought us the wonderful fourth season, though. While they weren't necessarily great characters, the fourth season is still my favorite.
