Free Norah = awesome.

Rejoice, my friends, for Norah has been freed. Wevan and Jessie came and picked me up to go to Green Bay. I got to see a lot of people that I don't see often and have much-needed conversations with others. As you'll be able to see from the pictures, Jessie and I had quite the time sleeping in Evan's childhood bed, giggling into the wee hours of the morning.

Last night made me remember why I like going to shows. Death & Taxes were fucking amazing. Seeing them again after not seeing them for so long was like a breath of smoky, beer-scented air. In other words, just what I needed. Seeing the HiFi was like seeing them two years ago - they were crazy and fun. The only thing that's changed is that they're much tighter musically. It was one of those shows where I was spitting on Chris, Jason was singing and Mandroid was onstage getting beer poured down her boots. All of the reluctance I've been feeling about going to shows for the last six months seemed to melt away. I'm not sure exactly what the difference was. In any case, it was a good time.

These are, for the most part, pictures of the show in GB last night.

BOOZE INTAKE, 4.27:
-pitcher and two glasses of Pabst
-Pass Out?: In Evan's childhood bed. Beat that.
-Puke?: Who do you take me for, Jason?
-Have regrettable making out?: Nope.
