1. Choose a few of your own characters. Five at the most.
2. Make them answer the following questions.
3. Then tag three people.
4. Feel free to go ahead and add some questions yourself!
I tag whoever wants to do it.
How old are you?
- 27. I got to be back home for my birthday, too, which was nice. Dimah fixed my favorite meal and- oh, um. 27. Right.
- 28.
- 26
- Ha, ha. Good one. How do you want to count that?
What's your height?
- Um... I'm not sure? I'd say average-to-short, but I'm not, like, _really_ short, but I'm certainly not tall. So yes. Medium?
- 173 cm
- Tall enough. A little under 5 and a half feet.
- Got something to measure with? I've got no fucking clue. A bit taller than most girls my, ah, age. Sure.
What are you?
- Um... how so? I mean, I'm a priestess of Luna and an Adelith and a mage (well, I've studied magic for a while, anyway) and a sister and a daughter and all of that, and someone called me a jeweler, which was sort of flattering, that they thought my work was that good, and so it really depends on what you mean and who you're asking and things like that, you see?
- Legal secretary by day, gun-wielding protector of humanity by night. This was way more fun in college.
- Aneketh.
- About to kick your ass.
Do you have any bad habits?
- Um, well, yes. I mean, _I_ don't mind that I'm distractable, but I know it bothers my father a bit. Well, a lot. And Mother says I talk too quickly. And probably too much. And I am sort of, um, disorganized.
- Of course. However, they're not up for discussion right now.
- Certainly.
- Nah, I'm a fuckin' perfect peach, right here.
Are you a virgin?
- Oh! Um! I mean, um! That's really not - ah, you see, you- well, it- That is a very inappropriate question!
- Nope.
- I was married for several years, you know. One would hope not.
- Why, you interested?
Who's your mate/spouse? If not, got anyone in mind?
- Um! no! I mean, Father will arrange something at some point, I'm sure. But no! Not at all!
- I don't have much luck in that department - better to avoid the trouble.
- He died a few years ago.
- Ha! That's a no, by the way.
Do you have any kids?
- Um, no. I mean, I will, some day, but first there's the whole betrothal and marriage thing to be arranged first. So no.
- No. I have enough nieces and nephews that I consider myself covered.
- Sadly, we were never so blessed.
- Damn, just when I thought you couldn't come up with a stupider question...
What's your favorite food?
- Oh, that's hard. I do have a horrible sweet tooth, and there is this little sweet shop not too far from home which has these little chocolates with fruit filling - they just melt in your mouth and oh, they're so good! But I also love olives, maybe with some light cheese and some good bread - I know, it's terribly common, but it's still good! And Dimah is a fabulous cook, and she makes this dish with smoked pheasant that is simply unbelievable - you really should try it, if you ever get the chance - and add a little iced wine to that, and oh, it's just a wonderful dish for a slow dinner on a hot night.
- Some decent sausage from back home - I know, it's cliche, but it's true. I miss the yogurt and the bread, too.
- I'm quite fond of crickets
- I get a kick out of eating rat, but really I'd have to go with this thing that Markley brings in sometimes - Camp Bell? Something like that. Pretty good stuff.
What's your favorite ice cream flavor?
- Oh, ice cream is one of the many things I miss from home. Light and cool with just a hint of rosewater...
- Coffee.
- Ice cream? I'm afraid I'm not familiar with that dish.
- You think we get that down here? Seriously?
Have you killed anyone?
- OhmygoodnessNO! How awful! Just because I've come all the way out here and there are bandits and bloodzombies and who knows what else, doesn't mean I'm going to _kill_ something. Oh my. No.
- Whether they were people is debatable, at least for most of them. But yes, I'd say I have.
- Yes. And I imagine I'll kill more.
- Not nearly enough of them.
Do you hate anyone?
- Hate? Goodness, no. I don't even dislike very many people.
- Yup.
- Yeesss, though it's a bit complicated.
- Damn straight.
Have any secrets?
- Well, not secrets, like not _secret_ secrets, though, you know, there are some things I've not told everyone, and even a few things I probably wouldn't talk about except with a really close friend, but that's normal, right?
- It's more that I have things I dislike discussing. I wouldn't call them secrets, though.
- Yes.
- Hard thing, to keep secrets down here. I don't, really, though I doubt most people would believe me. Fuck 'em.
Do you love anyone?
- Oh, um *blushes* no, well, not like _that_ anyway. I have plenty of people I love and care about - family, friends, all of that, but no one I'm, um, you know. Not like that.
- If you're asking about the romantic sense, it's complicated, and better left alone.
- I did, I do.
- Nah, not my thing.
What is your job?
- Job??! No! It's a research internship! Father would be very upset if I had a _job_.
- Legal secretary, though that's in a bit of flux right now.
- I'm a craftsman - mostly jewelry and alchemy.
- Mercenary is the fancy term for it.
Boy or girl?
- Girl
- Girl
- Woman
- Chica
What do you do to relax?
- Oh, I like to listen to music or work on needlepoint or some jewelry project, or knit, or talk with my friends or my sister, and to read, and to write letters back home, and to sit out in the sun, or under the moon on warm nights - all sorts of things, really.
- Go to the shooting range, go to a bar, cuddle with Cindi's dog and a good book.
- Sleep.
- Rust, man. That's some good stuff.
What's something that you like?
- Oh, I like all sorts of things. I think a list would get really long. I like dancing (though I'm not very good), I like making things, I like giving things to people, I like listening to people sing, I like reading, I like warm days, I like warm nights, I like getting to see new things, I like meeting new people, I like people in general, I like the color purple, I like cats, I like iced wine during the summer, I like hot chocolate, I like...
- Quality firearms. Ok, fine, good beer and wine, too.
- Competency, devotion.
- Kicking ass, kicking back, tripping, fire.
Where do you like to sleep?
- Well, I _like_ to sleep at home in my nice bed with big down comforters and fluffy pillows and that blanket my grandmother made. I fear New Liberty doesn't have the same advantages, though.
- In bed. What kind of question is that?
- In bed, with a lot of blankets. It's very cold here.
- My place, where I can sleep with both eyes shut.
Where were you born?
- On our estate, a bit east of Lamia.
- Peine, Germany
- In my village, in the wastes.
- Ha! Another one. Let's go with down Below.
