(no subject)
About 4 years ago I had a business partner and this person was also someone I thought at the time was a friend. It turned out that he was a scam artist and took me for granted. I took a loan out on my house and started a business with him and later ran out of money before the house was done. I then couldn't get a clear title for the house and my business partner left everything on me. I later discovered that he spent around 30k of the money on himself. I almost lost everything I had. He promised to pay me back even the he felt that he was in the right cause half the money was his. All the capital we started with was from my loan!!
He then got me to believe in his dreams of selling his films and making tuns of cash when he opens his bar and grill. So I continued to help him.
His Movies failed miserably. One reason is well he's an idiot. the other is he took the money from investors and spent it on himself. And had no idea how to direct. Several times an actor would ask me is he the director? hehe.. the funny thing is he got pissed once when someone told him that only one scene was good. that scene happened to be a scene that he wasn't there for. It was filmed and directed by me and dustin. (dustin is my current film partner).
I then helped him work on a house he baught. he told me he would pay me a percentage when the house sold. (I'm such an idiot). 2% of let me see nothing and nothing carry the nothing = diddle squat..
I then helped him get the bar and restaurant going by working as the manager. I was doing good there. things could of went smoother if he was not around. I mean this moron opens a restaurant and bar then decides to serve pasta with ketchup on it. he knew it was ketchup too. Clearly not someone with the ability to open a restaurant.
I finally got him in court today for the 2%. Even tho he had a lawyer and I did not I managed to destroy him. I plan on getting the audio file from the court and post it here on my journal.
