Reason #3

...I'm ashamed to be living in Nevada. Harry Reid, the worthless and corrupt sack of garbage supposedly representing my state in the Senate wrote a letter to ABC about the "Path to 9/11" movie that is supposed to show on ABC Sunday and Monday night. In the letter, he wrote:

"Should Disney allow this programming to proceed as planned, the factual record, millions of viewers, countless schoolchildren, and the reputation of Disney as a corporation worthy of the trust of the American people and the United States Congress will be deeply damaged."

So, let me get this straight, because a movie is being made based on the 9/11 Commission report, elementary kids are going to cry because Disney more or less accurately represented the failures of the Clinton and Bush administrations in regards to 9/11? Wow. I was blown away by this. Who knows if we're actually ever going to see the movie in it's entirety, its already being edited for content. Apparently, Clinton himself called the president of ABC and threatened him. Think I'm kidding? In the letter that Reid and the DNC Leadership Council sent to ABC, they said that it would be a shame if they lost their license. http://hotair.com/archives/2006/09/07/thugs-for-life-dems-threaten-abcs-broadcast-license-over-path-to-911/

Supposedly, ABC is going to release it uncut on iTunes for free, so, at least take the time to see what all the hubbub was about. As it is, I'm flabbergasted at this. They're actively censoring a movie that hasn't even aired yet, telling us what we can and can't watch. Are there things that are probably inaccurate? Probably, after all, the movie is a dramatized documentary, or a docu-drama. But come on. At least they're doing this right before an election.

politics, censorship
