What kind of witchery is this?

Taylor Kitsch on The Covenant, when he was interviewed by the A.V. Club:

AVC: Some have claimed that it's a homoerotic film. Thoughts?
TK: Um… [Pauses.] What am I going to say to that? Shit.

Is The Covenant a homoerotic film? You decide!

They had power, prettiness, and an absence of parental oversight. There's a blond one too, but I seem to have misplace him. From left to right: Chace Crawford, Steve Strait, and Taylor Kitsch. They like to drive off cliff for the lols.

There is some plotty things which I don't think is very important:

The plot chugs along, as the boys talk to Chase Collin (Sebastian Stan) -- who likes to kill people for the lols. The other two are just chilling by the wall, as one does.

Oh, and there is a swimming scene, for no other reason other than the obvious one, it seems.

And because Caleb (Strait) sometimes has bad dreams, he calls up his best bro, Pogue (Kitsch. Yeah, I don't know why either.)

Somehow they manage to become bathed in sweat over a phone call. Damn.

But wait! There's girls in this movie!

Here Pogue tells his girlfriend to Stay Away From That Guy tm (Chase.) She says, You Can't Tell Me What to Do tm,
and after he flounces away, she's taken down by a spider bite.
There's blonde chick in there somewhere too, but
really most of the women in this film spend their time
kidnapped/unconscious/irrelevant. Sad.

Taylor Kitsch is taken down half way though the movie, but here are some moments of pretty before that:

Random Chace Crawford:

Does this picspam movie make sense?
Don't ask me, I was barely in it. (Aww, look at his hair.)

And then there's final showdown, lots of rain, a deu ex machina or two, etc, etc.

And then they kiss.
Not, not really. One of them is thrown back into a burning barn.

THE END.

Or is it?

Apparently there is a sequel in the works.

Lucky us!*

*But really, compared to the other Taylor Kitsch movie I saw last week (Snakes on a Plane), this movie was quality.

*Goes back to FNL*
