I am currently in the first year of my Pre-Med undergraduate education here in the US, but I have always wanted to live and work in the UK (which, after reading the discussions here for a while, I now understand to be extremely difficult). I am beginning to consider the idea of attending medical school in the UK after I finish my four years of undergrad, which I would assume make it easier to practice as a doctor in the UK. However, before I delve into research on the whole process, is this even a realistic goal? After reading everyone's struggles with studying/moving to another country, I'm beginning to doubt whether or not I'll be able to attend medical school and work as a doctor in the UK, especially since medicine is such a competitive field to begin with, let alone when you're an international student. Thoughts?
