I keep watching these youtube videos about japanese cooking...
It's a little annoying because it makes me want to eat but it's very late already, so I shouldn't..
Also I notice Kai's not here? But I feel like it'd be rude calling to ask what's up. It's probably something important.

[He hadn't had much internet access the last few days following the events at Madame Maime's, spending most of his time either at the hospital or keeping a check on things at the Myhre apartment. He had been home long enough to filch a few sets of clothes and his school books while everyone was out, as well as his laptop to cruise the internet in the hours Sindre was out cold. When he pulled up his email that night he found the note Manny left; he frowned a small bit, thinking Gilbert would have told his roommates his whereabouts, but.. then again, maybe Gilbert hadn't even received his text.
So he dug out his phone and placed a call that he knew wouldn't be received until the morning, more than happy to entertain conversation should Manny want to call him back.]
Hey, Manny, it's Kai. I saw your journal posting; I'm real sorry I haven't got up with you before now. I'm probably.. gonna be out of the house for the next few days, and spotty for a couple'a weeks after that. My boyfriend's brother was caught up in a real bad fire at one of my jobs and is in pretty serious condition. I feel like it's better for me to be with them right now in a show of support, and to help out where I can. Feel free to call whenever, though. My phone's always on me. Catch you 'round, yeah?

I think.. I may take you up on the help, though, once Sindre is out of the hospital. It's-- well.
He's got second degree burns, so regardless of what the doctor's say I'm not so sure how well he's gonna handle all that pain once he's out of the hospital. Especially not with bandage changing and the whole nine yards.. I can chat with Valdi and see if he'd be down with you coming over to their place ever so often? Would be cool for you to meet my boyfriend, 'specially since he'll be comin' round the house.
Though still, I'm sorry I didn't let you guys know sooner.

Si, I'll be okay doing things. That has to be irritating for him, especially for more stubborn people.
[Thinking about it, he'd be the same. Such injuries would probably keep him from painting, and well, nothing keeps him from painting but a lack of paint.]

[He laughed a bit, which was a refreshing feeling after two days of so many sobering emotions. The hospital hadn't given much room for delight and enjoyment, though they all had worked hard to keep the morale light and airy for their bed-ridden friend.]
Oh, you'd get along real well with this crowd. Wilm especially, probably, Berwald too. Wilm does art sorts of things occasionally.. and I think Berwald just opened a woodcraft and flower shop with another friend of mine. It's a good crowd.

You should stop by the butler cafe sometime! It's-- well.. it's interesting. And Madame Maime's, once it's all restored again. Though.. maybe you should talk to Gilbert about possibly joining up with Theatricality? He might need the help again, since we're gearing up the line for Fashion Week.
