I love how you get it so perfectly when it comes to writing fiction. These 1000 words make me cry just as hard as I would if they'd had 99,000 words of filler fleshing them out. You hear that, world? DON'T WRITE THE BITS YOU DON'T NEED TO BOTHER TO WRITE!

I think this is my favorite. I'm very big into Regulus these days. The great untold, unacknowledged, unnoticed younger brother in the books and you bring him to life... and, by the way, that last line is killer.

I have such a hard time picking favourites because all of them are excellent.
4 has a very poetic ring to it, 6 made me warm to Regulus, 9 creates this wonderful image of the two brothers so close and yet so far, 10 was so perfectly and typically Remus, 12 offered some interesting insight into the Blacks' holidays, 13 was a huge (but well working) surprise and 20 made this entry go out with a big bang.

It was perfect.
