So we were talking about patriotism in government today. And then I saw these quotes. So I'm putting them on here

Dependent variable: Their hatred
Independent variable: Our freedoms
They are positively related (as we have more freedoms, they have more hatred of us).

It then follows that, to make them hate us less, we should decrease our freedoms.

so is it unpatriotic to not say the pledge of allegince?

i think so. but i dont think its wrong. its just not very patriotic. that was what we were talking about. do you not say it?

I think it would depend on why the person wasn't saying it. You know, like if they think it violates sep of church and state versus if they're just grumpy.
