Sorata Arisugawa - ♥♥♥♥: When he first met Sorata, Kamui was intensely annoyed by him. He was loud, obnoxious, a little rude, and didn't know how to mind his own business. However, Kamui was quick to grow fond of Sorata, the older teenager one of the few that was able to get past Kamui's defenses... somehow. Sorta is like an older brother to Kamui, the monk constantly mother-henning him and going out of his way to make sure Kamui stays healthy and happy. Sorata feels like a family member, now, and Kamui will protect him at nearly any cost.

Yuzuriha Nekoi - ♥♥♥: Upon meeting Kamui, the first thing Yuzuriha did was call him short (indirectly) and offer him Pocky. He was less than impressed and initially had a low opinion of her.

Subaru Sumeragi - ♥♥♥♥♥: Subaru is an odd spot in Kamui's life. Of all the Dragons of Heaven Kamui met him last, but he also knows Subaru better than he knows any of them, and Subaru knows him better than any of the others do. He feels a close kinship with Subaru for a variety of reasons.

Keiichi Segawa - ♥: Keiichi was extremely overwhelming when Kamui first met him. He was loud, bright, cheerful, forward, and didn't seem capable of turning his good mood off. As time passed Kamui got to know him a little better, and very quickly became very fond of him. Unlike many of the people that Kamui knows Keiichi is completely normal and, therefore, completely helpless to do anything about the end of days and the final battle. Keiichi has lost both his parents and is someone Kamui desperate wants to protect; Kamui considers is a personal failure on his part that he was unable to prevent Keiichi from suffering.
