Flist cut + epic adorkability
Just defriended about 40 people, comms & feeds. Mostly comms, but also about 10% of the people on my flist (only people who post relatively often *and* with whom I haven't really been in touch lately, if ever). I doubt anyone will care, but I want to say the reason is I'm having trouble catching up, even though I skip/speedread a lot. You're all

Ah. Actually, it's going to be aired over here. I'm still in Mitchell denial, though... but I guess I'll try to tune in. I'm very luddite when it comes to portable devices, to be honest; I haven't even any mp3s on my mobile phone, though I've used its radio a few times. I prefer to walk listening to the sounds of nature. But yes, I agree that Supernatural and the glory that is Serge Ladouceur's cinematography deserves to be seen on a big screen. But it is indeed dark at times. *points to icon*
Unfortunately, it wasn't for very long. We do need rain too, but it isn't as hot as all that. And you'd be very welcome! Hee, I haven't felt many (if any) mosquitos yet, but they tend to like me. Of course, I don't usually kill them, but yes, I know what you mean.
I miss you too! I've been in a weird place, but I'm working on getting better. I'd love to watch more DA with you, but I'm off to our summer place later this week, and while we're supposed to have Internet access down there I can't guarantee it'll work this year and if it does work, I'm not sure how much I'll be online nights. We usually watch UK crime dramas en famille; it's a summer thing. But I'll pack my .avis and then we'll see, ok?

re being human, because i loved old mitchell and annie and their dynamic with russell so much, i was very, very iffy about the new show. the frankly crappy backstory clips for the three characters that were released shortly before it started airing made me even less inclined to watch it. but i have to say, having watched all 6 eps quite recently, that it's well worth watching. it's a somewhat different dynamic, the show feels darker and there's the odd awkward moment, but it's of the good. in one thing, it's even better than the original pilot - omg old!herrick was horrible. the main thing i got off him was smugness. no nuances. i thought the new herrick was worse, based on the backstory clip, because what i got off him was pedo-like creepiness. however, through the course of the show the actor who played him managed to make him oddly charming and super scary/creepy at the same time. also, new!mitchell feels more sensitive somehow than old mitchell. and he has some amazing moments with george and some other characters. i could do without lauren, simply because the character is super lame and the actress isn't much better. and new annie has some great moments too...
mosquitos love me too! until i KILL the bastards. ugh i got bit in the face bb, in the *face*. i now sleep with a vacuum cleaner in my room so i can quickly get up and hoover the bitches. TMI?
weird place? do you want to talk about it? something happened or just the general life blues? been a bit run down myself, but i've got exercise and nieces and pretty kboys and twboys to keep my head up. as for DA, let's see. let me know if/when you can make it, and if that doesn't work out, no biggie. maybe there'll be another chance.

I think it's been more than general life blues; I'm quite worried about my mother and myself, but I don't really want to talk about it right now. Maybe later.
