re: 3

Is this the type of show an older person (like my dad) would watch? I'm trying to find stuff we can both watch, we just finished Deadwood.

Also, I'll be needing your info for Western Union probably before the end of the month. :)

well, i think an older person can watch it, but it's not, say, something like 'the office'. there's something v. innocent and fun and young about it. the best way to know if your dad would like it is to watch the first two eps (not just the first one). you should watch it anyways, because it's awesome. and if you guys want something more "adult" to watch together, how about 'sarah connor chronicles'?

and - yay :) does this mean you guys are doing better?

He doesn't like the US Office and he doesn't like SCC either. He's picky! He loved Deadwood though.

Sorta? My dad's getting his pension now.

that's good, i hope the eye thing gets better too. and you're well rid of youknowwho, so that's a bit plus (hope i'm not wrong there!).

hmm... i haven't really watched deadwood, but it's like a western thing, isn't it? have you guys seen 'the magnificent seven'? there's also 'life on mars', which is unrelatedly excellent and your dad might appreciate the 70s refs.

His eyes are still the same. I have not seen Maria since the day we moved, but I guess she still leaves messages on my mom's phone.

It's sorta western, in that it takes place in the old west. My dad called it a western soap opera.

We went to the doctor a week ago, he said he didn't see anything wrong with my dad's eyes and that they might just need more time.
