Quick Update
I just got out of class early so I decied to update. Broadway Theater Project has been on of the most cruical, interesting and fun experiences so far. I am so exhausted, and I've never in my life believed I could ever be worked so hard. I thought school was hard..but..I've had a revalation. Every single day I get up at 6:30, eat breakfeast, take 5 classes, vocal ensemble, and rehearsal till 10:30 at night. In between are cool surpises like going to see Mad Hot Ballroom and meeting the creators and people in the film. Meeting Jeff Goldblum and Patrick Wilson and having Master Classes and Question and Answer meetings. Or have a preview of a new upcoming musical. I defintely got what I wanted..which was vocal help. I've met with like 4 vocal coaches..and I've found out some dissappointing and but helpful information about my voice. I've learned how to pick up harmonies and blend in a group. I've learned about Stress Management and some cool new theater games. Acting wise...Patrick Page (Page Davis' husband) taught an awesome class that reminded of being in a mix of Sims/Blanchette class. Austin Pendleton..genuis. Besides all of the hard work, I've meet so many awesome people from all over. Even though we don't have much time to socialze..we always have a good time in our dorms. And I've also learned a lot of colleges because most people here are like 20ish. The age range is from 15 to 27. I hope I can keep a lot of these connections. Anyways, I'm also excited to go home cause I have so much to do before school. I hope everyones summer is going well..I got my AP scores..passed both..so I'm happy about that.
