Well, this might be an anticlimactic week of fishing:
I caught a 5 lb. rainbow trout within the first 30 minutes of fishing this year.
That sucker took out all of my fly line and half of my backing, about 150 ft. of line in all. And it took about 25 minutes to bring him in. And just in case you're wondering, caught him at Upper Twin Lake in Mammoth on a black leech fly. Well, back to vacation. Later.
